Let's Begin...

Blogs, Pinterest, and DIY projects (thanks to Pinterest) seem to be the 'it' thing these days. Maybe it's always been a thing but I've been noticing more and more people jumping on the blog train. Sharing with the world their daily activities, favorite new recipes or their outfit of the day. After much humming and hawing, I decided to start alexandrakathlyn and jump on the train. 

Why did I decide to start my own? I'm not a Mom, so I can't write about mom stuff, nor am I an expert on anything specific, like fashion or interior design. But what I am is a city girl...who is now learning the ropes of being a country girl. I'm learning how to combine the two lives without one stomping on the other.  How can I take these two worlds and bring them together in the most complementary way? This is going to be where I will share my ups and downs, my first attempts at a meal during the busy farming seasons and my creative outlet. {Okay really it's going to be my place where I share with the world my daily activities, favorite new recipes or outfit of the day and DIY projects :)}
